Is it possible to "test" a stepper driver or do you just have to replace on faith as it were?

I'm getting lots of shops on both my X and Y axis. Is there a way to determine if it's drivers without actually ordering new ones?

I bought an A10M recently and have been completely unable to get it to print properly mainly due to layer shift issues.

After several messages back and forth with the eBay seller they have offered to refund me a little less than half of what I paid in exchange for keeping the printer. I'm not sure ...

I have tried tensioning both the X and Y axis belts. If anything the Y-axis belt was in fact too tight and after loosening it a little there were fewer shifts but they still occur. Another issue I noticed was that one of the wheels on the X-axis was not turning when the ...

the stock firmware uses 80.3 and 80.8 steps on xy any not whole number is subject to the rounding error where over time of the print you get +-1 step resulting in holes and bumps that could give a shift.
