It seems like filament can get clogged between the outside of the extruder head (end of white tubing) and the area before hitting the hotend.
The plug is hard to reach and doesn't get heated (tested only up to 220C). Should I turn it up higher and try to melt the plug?

Update: no combination of firmware updates has worked.
Still get timeout error despite following extra steps.
Sometimes the firmware files cause just one side of the z-axis to go up until it jams repeatedly.

Printer is also brand-new, less than a month old. Has been working great until today. Only change I can think of is plugging it into a different outlet before the errors. Does that indicate a short-circuit or similar?
