Why does this happen?
Line width is set to 0.32mm
Height 0.3mm (initial layer, all other 0.2)
Temperaure ...

Re: Need help with my geeetech a20
The video you link to is worthless.
It does not say much.
How to measure the distance between nozzle and 3D touch top for an example?
You have no examples of how to do this, its just guessing here.

Cura settings for support
Hi friends
My A20 printer does a great work as long as no support is needed. As soon as I add support or need support it ends up with an awful surface that it should support, see image. The surface that it should support look terrible, rough and it builds no layer, just continues top print as there ...

Re: Need help with my geeetech a20
Another update here.
Get the 3D touch auto leveling tool!
It is great!!
However, as usual the instructions Geeetech gives of how to install is worthless.
I cannot understand why they need to make fast forward videos of a technician showing false things.
However when you download the firmware ...

Re: Run time ?
Its no big thing. I am building a full size flight simulator of a Boeing 737 at home and am about to print the throttle housing. That is the largest part so far. most of the other components are now printed and I know my printer pretty well.

Run time ?
Hi,
I have printed a few things that work out very good.
But what is the longest recommended print time for this printer?
The longest print so far I have completed was 18 hours. But I have a print that will go for 32 hours soon.
So what is the maximum time the printer can print?

Re: Need help with my geeetech a20
Hi
Yes the manual that comes with the A20 is horrible.
I watched a youtube video that some guy made of the setup of the A20 and that was great.
You should not tighten the feather screws, only adjust it so the nozzle head is tight to the bed.
The paper supplied with the printed to check distance for ...

Recommended CAD software?
Hi friends
I am new to using 3D printers and have my A20 machine which seems to work okay, sometimes.
What kind of 3D software do you recommend using when designing objects to print?
Have only used tinkercad online but that is very basic and an online version. I would like to have a similar ...
