A10, BLTouch smart V3, Marlin 2 ..

Well, seems the BLTouch smart V3 works correctly with the new stuff by Marlin 2. A test has been made between me ( A10, BLTouch smart V3 , Marlin 1.8.x "bugfix" ) and a friend with a different printer , same BLTouch, Marlin 2 . We made a test like : 5 squares , 30x30mm one layer height ( 0.2 ) . Four squares at buildplate corner and the fifth on the middle . We printed them and the same digital caliper said : mines weren't all the same...the middle was something like 0.24 (i had the z offset buit high) but corners ones weren't the same, like bottom right corner was 0.29, top right one was 0.34 and so on. So , if the sensor worked correctly it should have made the corrections, right ? It didn't. The V3 doesn't work properly but IT DOES on Marlin 2. The other person measured his printed squares (again, diff printer but same levelling sensor AND Marlin 2 ) and the tolerance was 0.02 , wich mean between 0.20 and 0.22. Any of you who experimented with Marlin on the A10 with Marlin 2 and the BLTouch smart V3 please ?

Hi, If you install 3d touch on your printer,
It needs to be calibrated and then used after it is properly installed.

Hello

Sorry , i wrote Bltouch smart V3 wich is different than the 3DTouch . Apparently they are the same but they are not. There are new instructions on Marlin 2 to let the Bltouch properly work because a new algorythm. It's been two years that i play with 3D printers and since i bought the Bltouch it never working properly. It do the probing but the calculation of the datas is wrong . They are it fixed on Marlin 2 ..
