Thermal Runaway A10M

Post by Haroldsplace »

Hello, today i've got a error message.
After a few minutes, print is already started, the temperture slowly dropping and the printer stops.
My best guess is a foulty thermistor.....its 600K Ohm.
Is it possible to replace tis one?

Anyone a better idea?

Cheers,
Harold.

Hi, You can check if your thermistor wiring is loose,
It can be measured.
The normal room temperature is at 80kΩ.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.

Hi William,

Well the wires look oke, massure 600K ohm,it's a circuit but to high.
When i disconnect the wire i'll get -14C.
Do you know what the Ohm' is at 220C?
Maybe i can find a themporary replacement, till the new one arrives from Geeetech.

Oke, got a new termistor today, but about 10 minutes later, i got the same error.

Your printer's firmware reported an error. Due to that OctoPrint will disconnect. Reported error: Thermal Runaway, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0 - Printer halted. kill() called!

What have i forgotten?

Edit:
Did a PID setup....no joy.
But it seems that the error starts on the secound layer.
Then the tempeture drop slowly untill the error.

Hi, You can try to update the firmware,
See if this happens again,
Is it possible to print the test files in the SD card normally?

Your the man.... you've got me thinking.
Law of murphy.
Termistor broken and faulty software.
This time the print finished it's job.
Gonna try to dial in the settings.

I'll be back.

Thanks.
