Hello,
I was attempting my print after calibration. I followed the steps for the G2 because, I only wanted to use 1 extruder at the moment.
Only my first attempt, the print bed and extruder heated up to the correct temps. Soon after that extruder move up as if to home itself and then it went down to the center of the print bead. The PLA started coming out of the extruder and then it stopped and the print bed and extruder temperature started decreasing. The repetier host software was still going as if the printer was doing its job. After I killed the print,I tried a few commands like homing the printer and its would just show pending commands. The printer head was not budging.
I had to let the printer cool and completely disconnect the printer to get back control and be able to send commands to the printer. The filament, extruder, and hotbed seems fine.
The only thing wrong is the fact that the printer stops after it heats up to the correct temp and the filament starts coming out. I haven't seen a jam yet, because I have tried to print several times and the filament comes out fine and then it just stops and starts to cool down.
Any suggestions?

I guess there are some issues on the communication between the printer and the computer.Cuz you said after you disconnect the printer and reconnect it again, then everything is OK.Try the following tips:
1.Have a double check on the connection of USB cable, you can try plug it into another USB port or change with another USB cable.
2.Try printing with a SD card to see if the problem still exists.
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: G2S Pro Hotbed and extruder cool right after heating up
I tried printing from an SD card and the same thing happened.
The hot end is preset to 200 degrees Celsius and the bed is preset to around 55 degrees celcius.
I start the print job, the hot end and bed start heating up.
The hot end will oddly hit over 200 degress celcius to around 206 - 07.
After the hotend hits about 207 its almost like the power shuts off.
The red lights below the printer cuts off, the fans turn off and the hot end crashed to the bed.
It does no damage because the hotend is in printing position very close to the bed.
After that, the display just started to flash repeatedly.
I don't know if the heat is playing a part or if the hotend exceeding the preset 200 degrees celcius causes some sort of system error.

1.You can set the hotend temp 195 degrees to see if it makes a difference.
2.Refer the following post to check if the resistance of the heating cartridge and hotbed is too small then caused the overheating.

3.Measure the DC output of the PSU with a multimeter to see if it is normal(around 12V).
