E180 Temperature won't Go Above 5-15 Degrees (C)

Post by IlaiFlint »

I'm not able to get the E180 to heat beyond about 5-15 degrees, even after about 20 minutes. Any advice?

I think you can remove it out and clean it then install it to the printer.

Also, if your contacts have noticeably large lumps of solder on them, remove them with a soldering iron ... otherwise contact is bad and temperature readings will be false.
