Sound likes the connection of endstops...
Can you "Move Axis" on LCD to every motor?

Yeah. You were right, problem was associated with endstop switches. Solved! Thanks a lot.

I discovered it according to your post. Just limitswitches were not connected correctly as you said.

Hi,

I just found this thread when I was searching for a solution to a similar problem. In my case my X was working but Y would only go + and Z would only go +. The limit switches were indeed the solution but I installed them as they looked like they should be in the assembly instructions .pdf.

After reading this thread, I had my son pull up a generic GT2560 wiring diagram and so I plugged in to each axis minimum limit socket. Now all works just like it should.

It turns out that the assembly pictures just weren't clear to me as far as how the switches should be plugged into the board. I've attached a .jpg for reference. Hope this helps someone else.
