I wonder which Printer in Cura did you mean?
All I found is "German RepRap Neo".
No RepRap itself or Repetier.

Okay.
But, in the case I choose "Custom FFF Printer" and any G-Code Flavor like RepRap, Repetier or the quality is poor to very poor.
Only using the Printer "MakerBotReplicator" itself has a very very good quality.

Cutom FFF Printer and G-Code Flavor MakerBot are quite okay. Useable, but not such perfekt as MakerBotReplicator.

With MakerBot Replicator Printer the Filament Extruding Timing are close to perfect. 10cm are 10cm. With the other Printers I did not measured.
Strange.

I prefer to use slic3r. Then you need to increase the filament flow. :D

In the case of Cura surprisingly not. Or better: I am not pretty sure, if Cura, the A30 or what else do a wrong job. But a lot of people worldwide has an underextrution with cura and custom fff printer.

of course bcs a lot of people dont take care about the thousand of options cura have, they just take it.
for a real pro, who is in the electrical and mechanical stuff cura is perfect because you can set everythink you might think about, but not for a normal user thats using a printer thats not a brand of cura
