I posted the pictures in portrait not landscape when posted they are being forced into landscape probally due to size, and yes i have a multimeter.

It's good not to take pictures of your computer screen. Do you know the functionality of the Print Screen key :?:

I would like to ask you to test all connections to the display module with your circuit continuity tester.
But in a specific way.

Conect the controller with the display module using the FFC cable. Disconnect all other wires from the controller.

Test the leads I pointed out with a pen in the picture. The circuit diagram will be very helpful.

There is no continuity at those points.

Then you have diagnosed the fault and it is very easy to fix.
I think there are cold soldering somewhere.

All you have to do is to improve the soldering points and everything will work like new. :D
