Hi.
;)

I suggest you write a protest to your Internet service provider.
It is not okay that you have limited access to services :!:

Hi.

In this area, I do not see an error on the program side.
The application is blocked by a stupid filter of the Internet provider.
This should not happen.

Hello,

I 'm new here and I have nearly the same problem. I tried a lot to connect my 3D WiFi module to my network. Connection to
printer is okay, I have also access from app to module. Only the connection to my router fails. I tried to connect to 2 routers, same result:

"Wi-Fi config is fail"

Entry of SSID and password is correct, using WPA + WPA2, 2,4GHz, free to connect new devices. Level of quality is good.
I found out the MAC address of the WiFi module and manually added the device to my network. So I was able to open the port 5000 to the device. Unfortunately this didn't solve the problem. The connection is always fail.

I also tried a different approach. With another mobile phone I built up a WiFi spot and tried to log in the WiFi module there. The same result there.

I got a second WiFi module, even not able to connect. What is wrong, I have no idea.

Please help me, I 'm lost.

If your home router has a closed 5000 you can try to open that port going in router settings.
My Home provider has that port always closed, so I can't use WiFi Module.

I wrote to geeetech support and they told me to buy a raspberry and use octoprint :|
I bought a wifi module from geeetech and I have to trash it....

Actually I bought a Pi3B+ and I'm happy with Octoprint

My knowledge in network is limited. Is it not possible to open port 5000 inside my home network only? At my FritzBox I can open port 5000 for the module, but it doesn't solve the problem. I do not need access from "outside".
Raspberry and use of octoprint is no option for me yet. It is too much effort.

Your new hardware needs it.
For your convenience, you can ask your internet service provider whether they have blocked communication over the internet on this port.

This board appears to be dead with most answers being from 2018. I too need help and hope I will get a helpful response here. After connecting to the module hotspot I get a message saying the wifi setup was successful. Then I get an error saying the server is not available and the process has to be started all over. What needs to happen or do I need to send this back? Thanks in advance.

:D Hi, for the use of the wifi module,、
you can refer to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FguzMjI ... e=youtu.be
If so, you check if your wifi is around 2.4.
