Can you tell me what version of the software?Is the Arduino 1.0.1?

yep arduino 1.0.1 i downloaded the firmware for the pro w from the first page of this post, opened it in arduino selected board as gt2560 (i think mine is the a+ i didnt have the green connecters, i had to screw connect the heat bed and extruder in) then the com port and uploaded.

yep its arduino 1.0.1, i downloaded the firmware from the first page of this post ( pro w) , opened the marlin ino, selected my board which is gt2560 A+ and com port then uploaded.

as my board seems to be a gt2560 revA+ should i try one of the other firmwares for the pro b,c,x or that have (A +) next to it?

now im regretting buying this, if i knew you had to know how to write firmware i wouldn't have bothered.

finally got the motors to move by disconnecting the printer from the laptop and pressing the reset button on the LCD and going to and selecting "control->"restore failsafe" a few times i can now auto home with the printer ( i havent tried to see if anything else is working and i also dont have an SD card to try a print.
as soon as i plug in the usb it no longer works. i have unistalled the device and reinstalled with the drivers from this forum which i believe are the ft232 as it shows as FT232R USB UART in my devices? but the same thing happens.

is there any way i can get the original firmware that shipped with my Pro W as that was working perfect for me?

Download and install the EasyPrint program.
I've seen that it has included virgin firmware for many printers.

I mean EasyPrint 3D v1.1.7
