voice recognition module

Hi, is anyone using the SPCE61a based voice recognition module. I had it working fine but recently it will not change state from a rapid flashing led. I have tried every configuraiton of serial interface I can and it never responds.

I haven't using the SPCE61a based voice recognition module,
but I can help you on the basis of the arduino voice recognition module, if you are interested.

Hi, thanks for the resposne. This item comes from Geeetech and the MCU is Sunplus SPCE61a. I thought it would be sufficient to interface to that MCU instead of adding an Arduino complexity. I don't think I will try the Arduino unit you suggested, it is too large. If you do have someone at Geeetech who can assist or advise on that module or the processor it would be great.
