extruder heats up beyond set temperature reach maxtemp

My 3D printer dual extruder is completely set up, however, I cannot print because the extruder/s heat up to 250 C instead of 230 C and reaches ERR: maxtemp
How do I solve this problem?
I have tried setting it numerous times on the LCD and on the software program (Repetier).

Short circuit may cuase maxtemp error.
Please check if somewhere of extruder thermistor are touched.
