Mini G2s 2extruder NO filament and Spider DROP

Post by dekard »

good evening everyone!
i bought a Delta Rostock Mini G2s 3D Printer, Double Extruder model and i have those 2 problems:
1- when prepearing for printing or during a print, the motors of the XYZ axis let the spider with 2 extruder fall on the printed object. adding the G29 command can't help solve this problem
2- when ready to print, no filamen is left on the heat bed, no abs/pla even with used for same print (together)
can you suggest me something to try to solve those 2 problems? :? :? :?
thanks a lot! ;)

for question 1, you can refer to this link:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 519#p28519
and for question 2, do you mean the filament is not stick to the heatbed? you need to calibrate the distance between the nozzle and bed after homing, usually it is the thickness of a normal paper.
Too big then the filament will not stick to the bed well. And try to use some glue on the bed before printing.

thanks for reply, i appreciate so much your help!!
for my problem now my aswers are:
1- will add the "M84 S0" command and let you know.
2-the problem is theat the nozzle is now calibrated to the right distance (1 sheet of paper both extruders) and now does this:
pla filament (black) remains on the heatbed but the abs nozzle (red) of my double extruder model, removes the filament left on the heatbed
and if i print with abs (red) it completely not remains on the heatbed and start accumulate near the nozzle of the extruder.
can't understand if i'm wrong with temperatures or what else...
you said glue.. which kind of glue?
thanks a lot man!!

hi again mark, i have tested the "M84 S0" command,
still not resolve my problem. after homing the printer, it fells, slower than last time, but fells down again.
can you suggest me anything else to try?

1)"but the abs nozzle (red) of my double extruder model, removes the filament left on the heatbed"
maybe the two hotends are not the same height, need to adjust them.
2) the glue, you can check the picture below. And all the normal glue for PLA or ABS models will do.

3) the motor, don't select the settings here:

thanks man!
the command to kill motor has been removed, will try it in next print. will let you know
for the glue, i have some difficulties finding it, maybe on internet or is a random "water base glue" ?
and if i can,i have another question:
suggestions on the temperatures to use while printing?
thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge!

don't know where to buy the glue ...but the temperature, usually for PLA, use 190-210 for hotend and -70 for heatbed; for ABS use 220-240 for hotend and 90-100 for heatbed.

hi guys, need another hint on how to start 3dprinting in the right way,
i mean, start and test all the 3d printer settings i have and then print more difficult/dettailed 3d objects..
something like a relly total noob guide, i think i need it because testing objects of "Printing_test_file" (http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/images/9/9 ... t_file.zip) supplied by geeetech help page are ok but i fail if combine the 2+2 squares to be printed with different colours/materials.
Thanks a lot for all your Help

I think the procedures are the same, I mean either print with single extruder or dual extuder, aren't they?
