Hi
2 months ago I bpought a Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro B via Ebay.
Have been printing ok, but I wanted to print a box for the GT2560.
This print is 7 hours.

After some time the extruder starts to skip steps.
And it just gets more more worse.

I have adjusted the driver to 1,2V - Still no good.

Have cleaned the hotend many times and even replaced the nozzle.
Have tried switching the Yaxis driver with the extruder driver - This does NOT move the problem

Print speed is 40
Material is PLA
Nozzle temp is 210
Beed temp is 65

Do I have to get a new GT2560 ??

Best regards
Thomas

Hi,Thomas
I don't think it is the board...I think it's the feeder on the extruder has a problem...Of course just a guess.
You can remove the fan on extruder to verify it when printing(check if the feeding is normal).

Hi Managed to check the extruder - and yes - it was broken.

Have been able to print new parts and rebuild the extruder converting it into a bowden setup.

This fixed the problem with the extruder, but then I found a new problem....

Extrution is even now - OK

But now it looks like a serious case of Z-banding.

Close to giving up on this printer - it has by now cost me a lot of money without 1 single ok print.

I am able to print but the results do not look good.

Do not know what to do..
