Prusa I3 M201 Extrusion Issue

I have a Prusa I3 M201 that works great for the first 20-30 minutes of the print. After that the PLA starts jamming in the Bowden tube and the Extruder starts slipping. The only way to get it back working is to stop the print remove the Bowden tube from the extruder head and cut off the portion that has swollen and got stuck in the tube. Once this is done it will extrude for another 20-30 minutes and then it jams again. I currently am only using one extruder and the other does have PLA in it but it is not active.
Things I have tried.
Configuring the extruder for 100mm of feed
Raising and lowering the extruder tempature
Updated the firmware
Different manufactures of PLA

I have checked for clogs and cleaned the extrusion tip multiple times with no success. It does not make sense that it would extrude perfectly for 20-30 minutes and do complete jobs that are small but nothing over 30 minutes in run time.

This sounds very weird - do you have "pigtailing" / a block of PLA stuck in the cold section of the extruder/nozzle assembly? In that case, your bowden tubes probably aren't inserted all the way. See here:
