Prusa I3 M201 - Two heater blocks?

Is it possible to control two heater blocks (hotend + sensor) with the Prusa I3 M201? I can connect one to each extension board, however I do not have control of the temperature on one of them (it heats up immediately as soon as it is connected and on, burnt myself before realizing this lol).
If it is possible, I would like to know how I can control the temperature of the second heater.

Hi,Here are some tips for you:
1、Make sure the related wiring are correct;
2、You can control the temperature in Repetier Host or EasyPrint 3D software.Here is control menu of EasyPrint 3D.

Thank you, it seems to have worked. However, in the status bar it states that there is an Extruder 3 whereas I only have two extruders and the printer information states that there are only two. How do I remove this third extruder?

This is what it shows. After some testing, it seems that my second heater is actually Extruder 3 (I held the temperature sensor and it responded as Extruder 3). However, now I see that I do not actually have control of this heater. What should I do?

Also, I experience temperature overshoot when I set a temp. It overshoots by 50 C. I am not sure about how to address this issue.

Hi,
1、Have you checked the printer settings are correct in the menu of
Config>Printer settings?The number of extruder should be 2,btw you can just reset the settings by clicking the reset button.

2、As to the overshooting issue,I think both heating block and thermistor may be short circuit.Disassem them and check the wirings,or just replace a new one.Then it will work normally.

I now have control of both heaters. I will look into the wiring of the second extruder; I think my sensor may need to be replaced, so I will try with another and see if that helps. Thank you!
