If you follow the conncetion as the photo above, the TFT LCD should works.There may be some reasons why it is not works. In the photo you provided,I saw some jumper wires plugged in the breadboard,you could mearure if all these connection are closed using your multimeter.And please make sure all pins on the Arduino Uno connected to LCD module works,one pin not working would cause failure. If you have Arduino Mega or I/O expansion shield, I suggest you connect it to test the LCD module for better result.

Looks like both my original post on this topic and also a followup one have disappeared altogether.

So in summary:
1) I cannot get this module to work correctly. It appears to have a backlight working but nothing appears on the display.
2) You have advised I have it connected correctly and configured software correctly.
3) I checked each connection with a multimeter and there are no shorts or opens anywhere in my connections.
4) I do not have another Uno or Mega to try.
5) It appears to me that the module is faulty.

Whats the next steps?

It's supposed to be the problem of the forum and it's a pity that your post disappeared.
1,I suggest you to use Arduino IDE023 or 022 for reliablity
2,Please try to use the demo UTFT_Demo in attachment
3,If it doesn't work, remove library ITDB02_Graph16 in your IDE ,use the attached library Graph16 and the Graph16_Demo code.

Did the following:
1) Used IDE023 for all tests
2) Used UTFT_Demo. Still no meaning ful display on module
3) Used Graph16 library attached and Graph16_Demo. Still no meaningful display on module

Repeat. It appears to me that this module is faulty.
