Geeetech E180 Experiences so far.
Right off the bat we lost the lcd display. Info online on this problem was maybe the micro SD card on the back side of the display comes loose during shipping. The cure was to release it and re-insert. This didn't help my situation, I had a white screen.
It turned out to be the files on the card were gone or corrupt. I re-formatted the micro SD card. The manufacturer's call them TF cards. I was sent the correct folder with the files and this corrected the white screen problem.
Moving onto Easyprint 3d, this is one buggy program. Crashes, hang ups, and just plain not working. I have the latest version, works ok on one PC and not on another.
I switched to Cura 3.1 and that slicer lets you have a lot of control on you prints.
After messing with a few settings, we are getting really nice detailed prints. The only drawback so far is having to save to a micro SD card and then printing from that card.
The location for the slot couldn't be in a more user unfriendly location.
I picked up a micro SD extension cable to plug in the backside, so I have easier access to inserting the SD card.
I did try saving to g code files and opening them up in Easyprint 3d, so I could transfer directly to the printer. Sometimes it works, other times it crashes in the middle of the print.
I can post my settings I'm using and also the correct files for the LCD screen if anyone wants them.
Good luck!
I some photos on the facebook page, cant upload pics here.
