Hi I am new to the forum and have just have built my own custom geeetech 2560 based printer.

I have a problem with my z axis as the weight of the bed is 5 kg ( alloy frame and 600x400 alloy plate) and my 2 Z axis motors are struggling to bring the bed up using the 4988 driver modules at max ouptut.i have been looking to upgrade the driver modules and have found tb6600. Has anyone had experience integrating this modules with the gt2560 board ?

i am open to other suggestions for other driver modules:)

I appreciate any advice.

Reduce the weight of the bed. Unless it's defensive equipment and you want to kill someone with it ;-D

There will be more problems when you do not do it.
Such a weight has a high inertia. In a moment you will write about the problems with the Y axis during dynamic printing.

Forgive my jocular answer.

Of course, you can always buy stepper motors one-kilo. They will deal with such a mass.
In the next step, you'll be replacing the drivers for these engines
and in the next main power supply
then what else the devil

There is no integrated module for GT2560 3D Printer. You can read more about it on college-paper.org reviews reddit because they have searched on it that what other things a 3D printer can do.
