PRINTER LOCKING PROBLEM

I noticed a problem with my printer
Sometimes when I start printing after a few layers it stops in the print position, the extruder is switched on and the fans are switched on and there is no way to turn off the printer. In the print display I noticed that the numbers of the layers do not appear while at other times. If I create the code with simplify3d they almost never appear while if I create the file with EasyPrint3D the number of layers appear.
I have updated the firmware with EasyPrint3D to the latest version of the program (V1.23.25)
I noticed that the serial number of my machine that appears in the display does not correspond to that printed on the barcode. I noticed that after the successful update EasyPrint3D does not detect that the firmware is updated and I asks to update again while the display is updated on the printer ... what can I do?
