Hi I am new to having to update firmware on 3d printers myself however I have used Arduino software before and have done very basic programing on Arduino boards can some one tell me what firmware I am supposed to use when flashing for a 3d touch I have downloaded the zip file but I have 2 files in the 3d touch option one with the extension .h the other has extension .h.bak any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Copy the the .h file. The .bak is a backup, ignore it.

Agree with @Forjo.He is correct.
You can delete the .bak file or just...ignore it
