The Program Repetier Host

Hi all,

I have some problems with my Prusa i3
I picked the 1.75mm ABS Filament in the Program Repetier Host as well as a 0.4mm nozzle. When using the program, I made a unnamed setting with all the tips from the Geeetech website (e.g. setting the printing speed etc.). I used ABS at 240°C Extruder Temp and 80°C Bed Temp. Still, all I get is a thin, almost invisible layer for the base layer and many “worms” and “blobs” around the nozzle, but no material, or, if I’m VERY lucky, some thin, irregular wormlike structures (as you can see in the picture). The nozzle is set about 0.2mm from the bed(two times DIN A4 paper thickness).
I hope there is something you can tell me to help me (e.g. use another program or something like this) as I’m quite frustrated and close to giving up on 3D-printing.
Thanks

Hi, You can try to heat the nozzle to the temperature of the heating consumable
and then manually push the consumables
to see if it can be discharged normally, to see if the nozzle is clogged.

If you can, please provide a specific print image or video.
So that we can solve the problem better. :D

Hello.

Tell me if you've calibrated the extruder.
When you lift the printhead, is the extrusion of the filament correct :?:

Sometimes it is worth to use a different filament to compare.
