Changing the extruder drivers to LV8729

I was thinking about changing the drivers, but when Looked under the existing chip there are no jumpers to set the microstepping. How is microstepping set on this V4 board.

Hi, there are no jumper caps on the V4 board.
You can try changing the driver board to TMC2208.
