Hi,

I'm new to 3D printing and have recently purchased a A20M. While discussing the noise it makes my friend suggested I could move to silent drivers. When I opened the base I found a board that I cannot find any information about and wondering if it's legit. Doesn't look like anything I've seen on videos or photos. Is anyone able to give me a few clues please?

I want to swap it out for a gt2560 v4.0 but first want to understand what I've actually got in there and whether it will be a simple swap. Already the LCD screen connector looks bigger and has more pins on the gt2560 to the board I have.

I have since found out from Geeetech that it is the latest 4.1B board with pre soldered 4988 drivers. Bit of a shame as it feels like a step backwards until they release a new board with the 2208 pre-soldered.

I'm now kinda stuck. My next step is to analyze the audio signal coming from the phone to see if I can figure out how that works, but I don't have an oscilloscope. I'm hoping that I can use my audio card in my computer paygonline. There are some lines in the app's code which lead me to believe it's using FSK, but I really don't know more than that.
