Cleaning the A10M hotbed

Hi- I am still trying to figure out the A10M. One question I have is how best to clean the hotbed. Can I use alcohol to remove some of the finer PLA that is stuck to the bed? Do I heat the bed and then try to scrape it off? I'll take any and all recommendations.
