Filimant Flow

Just bought the A20t and wanted to do a simple single color print. So I put the red filament in the feeder on the left as you face the front of the machine. I'm controlling the print via a USB cable through CURA which has been set up for this specific machine.
I can get the machine to print, but I'm having MAJOR problems with flow. I put's out very little red, however I'm afraid of increasing the flow for fear of clogging the machine.
I have done no firmware upgrades, this is right out of the box.
I took care in leveling the machine but did not see any instructions for leveling the center of the build plate.
Any help would be appreciated.
