How to change or control filament on left extruder?

I recently got my A20M working, and was managing until I tried to change filament. Then I find the following:
1. I press "Change filament" and immediately it goes to a screen that says "Nozzle: E1" and in fact starts unloading extruder 1, on the right. There is nothing that I can press here to change it to E2.
2. I go to the "Move axis" screen and I am surprised to see "Extruder" rather than "Extruder 1" and "Extruder 2". And indeed, if I press "Extruder" it goes to the screen below where I see an ability to move by different distance steps, but no ability to select the other extruder! How is this handled?
