Geeetech A10 ignoring temperature settings?

Hi all
I'm new to 3D printing and I recently got a Geeetech A10. It seems to be working very well aside from one thing.
I'm getting a lot of stringing, and the print sticks to the bed a little too well (tricky to remove after printing). I tried to lower the temperature of both the hot end and the bed but it seems the printer just ignores it and always prints at 215C on th10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254
e hot end and 60C on the bed. The weird thing is that it heats to 190C first when you select "Preheat PLA". I'm using Cura if it makes a difference.
