Ok. Tried again today. Made a new slice with the object rotated 90' so that the cylindrical part is built upwards. Takes longer but that's not the focus now. This time the printer did not try to pull/push the printbed further than it can go iin the Y-axis, but it did just stop printing at layer 300 ...

What's binding? Even google couldn't help me explain that one.
I can't find any loose motor wires, but if that is the case, how does it work on the first layers?
