In fact I replaced the hotbed with the aluminium hotbed that is offered by Geeetech as mentioned below:
Geeetech Superplate 3D Printer Aluminum Heatbed Kit
SKU: 800-001-0509
$39.00
In case you decide to go for that one, you have to add a power supply and a 25Ampere MOSFET unit to reach 120 ...

Geeetech super plate hotbed
A few weeks ago I decided to buy a Geeetech super plate hotbed for my I3Pro B. I changed the old hotbed for the super plate. It did not heat above the 80 degrees centigrade. The standard power supply delivers only 180 Watt by 12 volt. That was not enough for the super plate hotbed. Also the GT2560 ...

Re: Super plate heatbed
Hello William,
The power and the resistance are ok. So I have to find a solution to give the super plate heatbed more power, perhaps 24 volt. I could do that with an external 24 volt power supply. Can you advice me the best way to do the wiring? Is placing a relais on the old extruder heatbed ...

Super plate heatbed
Hello,
I ordered and installed the Geeetech super plate heatbed. It works fine but the temperature will not rise above 85 degrees centigrade. So I cannot print with ABS or Nylon. What do you suggest to improve the warming up time of heating and to get the plate heated to 120 degrees?
regards, Willem

printer stops after 2 hours with mintemp error
Hello,
After three months of printer pleasure, now I have a problem. After two hours of printing, the printer stops with a mintemp error. Is the printer driver getting to warm and shuts it down automatically? Or is there an other problem? Can you help me finding the clue of this problem?

Re: 3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer
Hello,
It seems that the M851 command does not work on my Geeetech printer.
After levelling the printer bed manually as good as I can, I started the calibration procedure as mentioned in your Wiki.
After the commands g28 and g1 z0, I executed the procedure on the menu of the printer. There I had ...

Re: 3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer
Hello William,
Thank you for your answer. Is it possible to change the firmware in a way that after giving the home command, the printer is really going home (0,0,10), after the printhead is stopping in the center of the heatbed? Where can I change that code?
Thank you for your quick responses ...

Yes, the Z_SAFE_HOMING is enabled.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello,
I installed the 3d auto levelling sensor, changed the firmware and everything seems to work with my Prusa I3proB and a GT2560 rev a+ controller.
