Steppers skipping with loud noise

Today all of the sudden, the y-axis stepper motor started skipping with a loud click noise. If I keep printing the other motors also do it.

It has never happened before and it was printing fine on several models. It happened all of the sudden in the middle of a print, now I cannot print any more.

I have tried reseting, turning off the printer for hours and still does it.

I suspect this is a problem with the power supply.

Help please! :)

You can check if the mechanism does not jam. Slowly move the heat with the power off.

ich hatte das mal bei einem CTC!
Dann stellte sich heraus, dass ein Kabel vom Endlagenschalter gebrochen war!
(Ich habe den Drucker auf die Seite gelegt, der Extruder bewegt sich nach unten und schwupp war der Stepper Treiber kaputt!: Also Vorsicht bei der Fehlersuche!)

Try to decrease the X-Y Jerk value.
Menu / Control / Motion (Jerk could be 20 should be 10 or 5)
i3 B + i3 C + i3 M201 + A10 + A10m + A30
(+3 x Kossel)

Before I upgraded my drivers to be quieter, I've actually woken up in the middle of the night because my computer froze and stopped mid print. That's how loud the silence was myprepaidcenter activation
