PSU problems on a10

Post by gopher »

Hello everybody!

I've bought my a10 printer in the beginning of may 2020.

For no reason my psu started to make some annoying noise and the red light of the input power switch started to flashing? but the printer was working.
And there passed about 5 minutes with such noises and then nothing - it stopped, psu failed to deliver power(

I wanted to figure out what happened and disassembled the psu with switch block.

I have measured the input voltage on the switch input power sockets - and it wasn't 220V AC - it was just 17V AC.
On the output sockets there was the same voltage.

Then i wanted t know whats with the psu and i have delivered power of 220V AC to it without switch. And it works fine and the output voltage of psu was 24V DC.

How should i contact the salesman to solve this problem? It's not comfortable to deal with printer without power switch :|

Hello, William!

The second time for about 6 monthes my psu input switch fail: first time the fuse was burned, and now the switch on button failed. I've checked the input power from the fuse, it's ok, but no matter in what position the power on switch is, it isn't delivering power to psu.

Whom should i contact to solve this problem?
I think that the input switch is defective...

Thanks!
