Please swap 2 wires on LCD which are connected to mainboard.

I swapped the wires and made the adjustments with the resistor pot and now I have a series of black boxes on the LCD screen.
But I cannot control the broad with the reset or selector switch.
As well, the software does not communicate with the control board.

No, I did not change anything with the firmware. I just assembled the unit and started it up.
That is when the module started smoking.
Nothing has worked from the beginning.

If you want to connect the software(Repetier) to printer, you should choose correct baud rate(250000) and correct COM port.

I have done that correctly. Believe me, I have done all that I possibly can to remedy the situation.
I am not a novice and have reviewed your materials seriously and thoroughly.
If there is a problem it has to be defective components.
Please give the okay to send all the electronics to me.
I have been in constant contact with the Foreign Trade Manager and she is just awaiting your okay.
Here is her last response to me:
"I checked our forum again and found our technical colleague have replied you, can you pls have a try?
Then I will confirm with them on Monday, we will send all the parts need to replace to you."

Hi, I can't find any record of sending you the firmware. Sorry, I want to know, did I send you the firmware before?

I assumed that the firmware was already burned on the chip.
If it wasn't, send the firmware to me and the method of installation.
