Extruder wont heat up, extruder stepper wont turn, and other

Extruder wont heat up, extruder stepper wont turn, heat bed wont heat up nor does it show a temp reading on repatier, and the lcd is a bunch of squares unless i look from the top. I have pics:

I thought they went here but when i plug them into here it gives me the maxtemp error: (pins to the left)


so what do i do? is my wiring bad or do i have a bad heat bed and extruder? or am i missing parts?

hi,the heating wire and themistor wire are not connected.the following link will tell you how to wire the gt2560.

well i now get a temp reading on on the print bed but not the extruder and it says ERR MAXTEMP

maybe you connect the heating wire of extruder to hot bed.

I have checked ever wire i ether get a temp read from the bed or the extruder else i get a maxtemp error, none of them ever heat up and the extruder stepper still will not move

hi,do you have multimer,please measure the thermistors of hot bed & extruder with multimer.else，please take a picture if what LCD display and post it to forum.

Hi everything is working,the bed has a temp reading, everything heats up, but the extruder stepper still wont turn. Here is the lcd (I meant to include it in the main post)

It shows up a lot clearer in the picture but from a sitting or standing perspective its impossible to see:


however if i look at it from a top down perspective i you can see it:


This honestly doesn't bother me that much but its still a miner inconvenience

please screw the screw on the back of LCD.it is used to adjust LCD contrast.
