Firmware crash after attempted fix

Post by mackamandag »

I'm have a i3 c with GT2560 board

My original problem is the extruder motor not turning and I read that I could fix it using ardruino firmware software.

I sent this code to the firmware
#define EXTRUDE_MINTEMP 170

after this the LCD only shows black boxes across 2 rows.

I can't find the firmware to revert the board back to it's original state, and how can I fix the extruder motor problem.

I've tried swapping out the stepper motor chips and verified that the chips are working, tried swapping the cables and the cables worked (attached extruder motor cable to x-axis controller and the extruder motor is working)
