Hi!
I'm having trouble getting filament to feed. I've tried both extruders that come with the G2s, and neither seem to work. The gear doesn't seem to "latch" onto the filament and instead just shakes back and forth while trying to manually extrude. Without filament, the gears only turn sometimes. They worked for about 3-4 prints when I first built everything, so I know everything is wired correctly. Since then, I haven't been able to get a successful extrude.
I saw you could adjust the voltage, but I'm not 100% sure how to do this. Even without adjusting the voltage, the gear should still be able to turn normally without any filament right? The fact that it doesn't makes me think adjusting the voltage won't help.
Any suggestions? Do I need to buy a different extruder motor?
Thanks for the help!
G2s Extruder lacking power? Gear won't turn
Re: G2s Extruder lacking power? Gear won't turn
you can swap the extruder motor with the X axis, see if it works.
And check your nozzle, if it jammed the motor will also shakes and you can hear the ticking sound .
