is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
I can connect to my I3 X-2 Printer with Pronterface, but not using the Geeetech Repetier-Host provided by Geeetech...is this an issue with the 32 bit Windows7 systems?
Anybody that had the same problem ?
the error message I receive is : Serial com error: System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventsArgs
I read that this could be produced by some connection problem between the USB port and the machine, but it is the same Port, the same Cable, and the same Machine I use with Pronterface and it works perfectly getting all the movements and infos.
The Port and the machine are setted to 230400 baud rate and I use a Windows7 Ultimate OS.
Thanks for any help

Re: is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
How about change the baud rate to another one? such as 25000 or 115200. And remember to check the baud in your firmware.
Re: is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
Thanks for your post Mark, but....how can I " extract " the firmware from the chip of the GT2560 card?
I would have it in a compiler like Arduino for to modify something in it and then reload after the changes....
Do you know some software that can reach the core of the chip? with Arduino it is impossible....I think...
Many thanks

Re: is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
Ok...now I have a problem....does this sound familiar?
I printed a couple of items, with just some issue with adhesion to the bed, but solved using Kapton tape ...
now the problem is that, after some layer printed correctly, each slice is slightly shifted( one millimetre each one) toward the back og the Printer, along the Y axis, and only along tat axis....which kind of problem am I facing????
the .stl file had been sliced with slic3r and then loaded on Pronterface, that manage the printer...
where Have I to look for?
thanks

Re: is Geeetech Repetier-Host for 32 bit too??
I think your Y axis step driver have a low voltage and caused the motor loose step and changed the coordinate, you can try to increase the voltage accoridng to the pose here:

...many thanks Mark!!!..
I checked the voltage at the Y axis Driver and found it was 0.798...I just set it to 0.98....and voila'...everything worked perfectly ....just finished my firs really functional Objet and uploaded a short video on my YouTube channel.... https://youtu.be/7rTA7maBBCU
many thanks again.....
