can anyone help with I3 pro c problem?

Post by marco HL »

Hello all,

i have the printer: Geeetech I3 Pro C now for a few months. But i can not print with it. I have try a lot to fix it. But nothings works.
The problem can be everything.

My question is: is there a step by step plan only for the Geeetech I3 Pro C printer? to download everything and all the settings. if I look here I come against many types. And I feel that I currently use several together. or software that I miss. :|

Maybe you're thinking who is this again .. but I keep trying and really come no further. I hope someone will help me further.

I have allso a new computer. But this one will run next week. So all I can do it good in just one time if necessary.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElVB5c_IZOw This was the setting from 24july, the setting are now otherwise. but here you see the problem. he does everything except driving extruder.

Sincerely, Marco

P.S. I have a few sentences translate. There can thus prevent a few mistakes in my lyrics. apologies

your extruder motor seems not working, you can check this link to see if it works:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=17097

And the first layer is too high from the bed, so the filament will not stick to the bed well and that's whay you got those bad printings.
you can improve the quality of your printed parts here:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 26&t=17183

In addition your slic3r settings are not correct, you can refer to the attachment to check it, it's for PLA, using repetier host1.5.6.
Also your printer settings is 200*200*180, not 100*100. the offset for your nozzle is -16 and 16, you can set it here:
I3 pro C repetier1.5.6 config.zip

did you heat up the extruder to 170degrees when testing the extruder motor? it won't turn until reaches to 170 degrees.
And if you did that, then I think you can try the followings two things:
1. check the extruder motor driver, you can swap it with the X axis one, and see if the driver is dead or not.
Also use the same method to check the motor wires, maybe it is bad contact.
2. try to reinstall the firmware, you can download the firmware for your I3 C here:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=17046
and refer to here to install it:

i have try it again a few months later haha and it works :D

only problem what i now have is that 1 nozzle is lower than the other. the lower one presses the printed part away from the bed. I hope to fix with a caliper

thank you!!
