new configuration with prusa i3x

Post by nevarim »

hello
i'm new with prusa i3x and i have some problems to use and to check

where i can find latest firmware for prusa i3x?
what windows gui is to use with this 3d printer?
what are the operative system allowed with that program (windows GUI interface)

for the printer i have a problem
i mounted all as video in youtube and manual show, but when i try to use x and y axys goes well, Z axys has some problems to move: only motors without nothing mounted go well, but when i mount in structure they cannot move Z axys up or down (is to calibrate better motor power? when i try to move manually there are no problems)

thanks for reply i hope you can help a newbee :D

i search but information on this printer are incomplete or discordant between various wiki

"where i can find latest firmware for prusa i3x?

for these questions, you can find it in the user manual, you can download it in the product page:
http://www.geeetech.com/unassembledgeee ... p-941.html

" Z axys has some problems to move: only motors without nothing mounted go well, but when i mount in structure they cannot move Z axys up or down "
for this, you need to check if those rods are bended or not, or increase the driver voltage as follows:

And you can also check this link:

your Z aixs endstop might be open circuit, check the connection between the metal parts on the endstop and the wires, see if there a bad contact. Or have you plugged it in the wrong connector?
