So I just got my "ME CREATOR" printer a week or so ago, I have been able to print the standard calibration testing of 20mm cubes, without issue, but anytime I tried anything bigger or more complex, the y-axis seemed to slip and move forward, I slowed the acceleration down as suggested in some forums but this didnt help it just moved slowed and slipped.
I found the issue when I tested the Y-Axis manually, when moving forward (toward the front of the unit) it has no issues, I can move it all the way to the end of the track easy, but on the return home is where the problem comes in when I try to retract or return to the Y-Axis home, its seems to lock and there is slipping and teeth seem to be skipping because it make a grinding sound. If I put a little pressure on it, it returns fine..
This would explain why larger print jobs have been slipping to the end, since it thinks it is doing a full return to where it needs to go, but the slip causes it to move forward..
Any help would be greatly appreciated
