Y axis DRive not working

Post by robguiri »

Hi, I just built my first I3 pro B, My axis motor working fine and then stopped, the motor works in the x axis slot on the board, i am assuming that the slot on the board is broken, is it posible to reprogram the pins from my empty 2 extuder slot to funcion as the y axis?

I am new to this and would apreciate any help.

Hi,
I'm afraid that may not work. You can swap it with the pins from X axis to check it the slot if it is broken or not.

Hi when I turned on the printer this morning the Y axis worked fine for about 5 Minutes then stopped again. Could this be a voltage problem?
