Hi,
yesterday I received my 3dTouch autolevel sensor and installed it on my geeetech prusa I3 Pro B acrylic.
I followed the instruction manual and everything seemed to work fine. Then I noticed, that after a auto home (G28) or autolevel (G29) the nozzle is about 0.6mm over the bed.
I replaced the nozzle and the heater a while ago, so the dimensions may not be exactly the same as on the original prusa and in the manual.
So I changed
#define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1.4
in the firmware, but no matter what value I choose then distance between bed an nozzle stays the same.
Is there any other value I have to change to get the nozzle closer to the bed?

Mirko
Problem with 3DTouch autolevel sensor
Re: Problem with 3DTouch autolevel sensor
Nope,it the place that matters it.
You can modify it .1 one time until you confirm it.
And the modification will take effect when the print starts.

Re: Problem with 3DTouch autolevel sensor
So at last it was a mechanical problem.
In the 3D Touch sensor the needle which comes out at the bottom is fixed to a magnet with a shrinking tube. That was loose. So the needle could move within the shrinking tube and the distance to the magnet changed from time to time.
I opened the sensor put a bit glue into the shrinking tube, fixed the needle and now everything works as expected.
