rostock 301 homing

Post by Armstrong »

Just got my rostock 301 setup. While homing, only X and Z moves up till hitting the limit switches, the Y motor seems locked at its axis and didn't move at all. I have tried 'Home' from both LCD control panel and REpetier software, the problem remained same. The Y motor physical connection is good. The Y axis can be moved individually, both in Y axis movement or synegistically X, Y, Z movement by using Repetier. Only problem was 'homing'.

Got the problem solved. A pin at the connector of Y endstop stop switch was pushed out, as it usually should not. reseat the pin and the problem fixed.
