My main board fried its power supply. The supplier of the printer said it was NLA, so I bought the GT2650.
NP. I use Arduino fairly often. every thing transfered connector for connector.
1) On powering up, I get 2 lines of dark squares on the LCD (of the M201). Which is the correct library for the display?
2) Which are the extruder and bed thermistors?
3)Any other settings I don't know about yet?
TIA!

Generally a new board has no firmware in it.
Why did you buy GT2560 board if you have a M201?It should be GTM32 or GTM32 Pro,check your broken board to confirm it.
And you only can use one extruder if you insist on GT2560(upload the firmware for ProB).
Here is a link the firmware:

Re: M201 and GT2650
I bought this board because I was told by the supplier that it was no longer available and I needed to get back up and running as fast as possible.
The board fried its on board power supply stopping the fans, dropping the 5v to 3v and the 12 below 3v.

Re: M201 and GT2650
So which board do you mean by "The board fried its on board power supply stopping the fans, dropping the 5v to 3v and the 12 below 3v."?
The old board or GT2560 board? And which firmware did you choose to upload for your GT2560 board?

Re: M201 and GT2650
The GTM32 fried.
I used the Marlin PI3 pro code. I VERY happy. Seems to respond faster and print more reliably
