USB/Serial communications issues

The USB Serial communication between the PC and printer stops responding randomly after 20-30 minute when used with Repetier Host.
This happens also in EasyPrint but not so often. Attached the screenshot from Repetier. This happens with two different computers and two different cables.

I can't get the E180 running stable with any other software than EasyPrint.
I keep getting these communication errors in e.g. Repetier Host.

Is the E180 communication protocol different than other protocols?
Did anywone succesfully got E180 running stable with Repetier?

Have you tried to update the firmware?
You can upload the pic about your printer firmware info

Yes. I did. I run 1.13.16

I think you can update the firmware to V1.20.21

Apparently the display fw didn't update. Just the mainboard.
Now it says: V1.13.21
Same issues with the serial communication. The only way to be able to print is to slice it in Cura and then print the gcode in EasyPrint.
Even so... Twice the printing was interrupted after 30-40 minutes.

With the new firmware and a buffer of 511 bytes it seems more stable. With 127 bytes buffer still some errors.
