Are the GT8S extrudes a plug and play drop in for the MK8 extruders

Just as the title says. Can I use the GT8S extruded on the pro c? Thank you for your help.

Logically, it can be used on Pro C,
it's not cheap, and I am wondering you might need two of them for Pro C?XD
