Linear advance (command M900 K...)

Post by Miich »

I recently bought an a30. the printer works correctly with normal models, but gives problems with thin walls. the bowden system is not the best for this. Marlin firmware has better control of the extruder activating 'linear advance' (command M900 K ..). smartto is compatible with this feature? If so, how to activate it? Another option is to update the A30 to Marlin, but I do not know if that is possible.

Thank you

for geeetech technicians
the question is difficult to answer?
Was it an embarrassing question?

I can not adjust the printer correctly. Many retractions and movements without impression.

work with cura 3.5.0.
I have tried with the inertia tank and adjust retractions. I have also tried with a direct system instead of bowden. Very bad quality

my opinion ..... the problem is the control material addition. Marlin with linear_advance could solve it

by the way ..... thank you very much for answering

Did you worked on the objekt of your picture or its just from the printer?
In generall its a settigs question, i would recommend to try slicer pe and reprint that stuff, or maybe calibrate the printer before.
Do some retraction tests and a temp tower to get better results.
I got perfekt results with any kind of setup of the a30

I only work on the setup of the printer.
retractions from 1 to 10mm
temperature from 190 to 230
inertial tank from 0.5 to 3mm³
speed from 30 to 60mms
Speed displacements from 30 to 120mms
combinations of everything and many more.

The wall is thin, 0.4mm

Printing only the exterior of the model (spiralize pareameter of cura) is perfect, but without the internal structure

I did not think about it
But I think that will improve the impression, but not much.
Anyway, I'll try ... it can work.
