
The problem is that when the motor changes direction that spring clip flexes due to the weight of the bed, essentially making the belt "stretch" during movement.
I modded the front Idler bracket into an adjustable tensioner and got rid of the spring, almost all of my ghosting issues are now gone.
The mod takes about an hour, and all you need is a dremel with a cutoff wheel and a drill.
Remove the bed, front idler pulley and bracket. then slot across the bracket mounting holes. I slotted an extra 1/2" towards the front of the bracket:

Reassemble minus the spring clip and shorten the belt:

I used the end of an electrical terminal to secure the belt. Now you can adjust the belt tension:

This mod eliminated my ghosting issues. Dont forget to check and adjust the wheel to track tightness of all 3 axis.
